The use of English songs to improve students pronunciation at Mardhotillah orphanage, Bandar Lampung

The study aimed to describe the improvement of students’ pronunciation after implementing English songs in teaching-learning process. subject this was senior High School students Mardhotillah Orphanage, Bandar Lampung, which consisted 10 students. This research quantitative. design used one group pre-test and post-test. instruments were tests recording. data collection instrument a test divided into post-test, audio recorder had recorded, they analyzed using Paired Sample T-test. results showed that mean score on 48.5, post-test 72.5. Besides, scores from 24. It could be seen computation significant value lower than alpha (0.00<0.05) while t-value (5.573) higher t-table (2.0452)><0.05) T-value (15.095) T-table (2.2622). Therefore, hypothesis is accepted there difference ability songs. Based results, it can concluded effectively teaches pronunciation.
